The customer name and email address are shared with vendors from whom users place orders. In the case of collaborative market listings, your personal details and order details may be shared with the coordinator of the market for which the order was placed. The farmnivorous Community does not currently and has no intention of selling your personal information to 3rd-party collectors. Payments and credit cards

More specifically, vendors are required to have a Stripe account for online orders with a card and they connect that account to The farmnivorous Community. Stripe is an industry leader for processing credit card transactions online and employs encryption and fraud-prevention protocols that are industry-leading. The farmnivorous Community does not store or even read your credit card information. However, when you make a purchase, your IP address, zip code, and other basic information about the computer hardware used to make the purchase are available to the The farmnivorous Community team and the vendor(s) from whom you purchased the item(s) for fraud-prevention reasons.

Vendor sales data & collaborative markets

The farmnivorous Community lets vendors and market coordinators collaborate with shared online stores. Detailed customer sales data from participants are shared with the collaborative store host. Final sale prices are not disclosed.

The farmnivorous Community uses cookies to enable it to distinguish between users currently visiting the site, recognize return visitors, and improve your personal experience.
